01 — Replacement Parts
Where VIGO parts actually come from
VIGO does not run a public service-parts catalog on its website — and knowing that saves you an hour of searching. The published path is direct: any product "reported to VIGO or an authorized dealer as being defective within the warranty period will receive replacement parts and/or troubleshooting assistance to correct the issue," per the warranty printed in VIGO's installation manuals. What can be replaced? More than most owners expect. The Edison pull-down's manual publishes its full parts list: the pull-out hose, sprayer, handle lever and body, the ceramic Sedal cartridge, the braided supply hose, washers, screen and flow restrictor. The manuals' own troubleshooting table routes a worn sprayer button to exactly one place — "Contact Vigo Technical Support for replacement." No specialty tools are involved anywhere in the service steps: VIGO's manuals list an adjustable wrench, screwdrivers and thread-seal tape, and hose service is loosen, rethread, retighten.

02 — Care That Protects the Warranty

Every VIGO finish — matte black to brushed gold — wants the same treatment: wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry with a clean cloth. The prohibition is just as simple, and it is warranty language, not advice: abrasive cleaners, steel wool and harsh chemicals "will scratch, damage, and/or dull the product and/or finish and void this warranty." If a cleaner needs gloves, it does not belong on your faucet.
For hard-water buildup, VIGO's manuals recommend a 50/50 water-and-vinegar solution — sprayed on the cloth, never directly on the tapware, so cleaner cannot creep into the valve. Matte black shows mineral deposits soonest; a quick wipe-dry after use keeps it flawless. And if flow ever weakens, the first suspect is the aerator: unscrew it and soak it in vinegar before assuming anything is broken. Ten minutes of this a month is, in most cases, the entire cost of ownership.

Component-level terms vary by part and product line — the cartridge, hoses and sprayer carry their own periods — so for a specific part claim, the fastest honest answer comes from the warranty documents or a two-minute call to support.
Three habits on delivery day repay themselves for years. Open the box and inspect everything immediately — damaged, defective or incorrect items reported to orders@vigoindustries.com within 48 hours of delivery get replacement, repair or refund, with VIGO paying return shipping on confirmed defects.
