Two Oneida Indian Nation casino hotels in Upstate New York use the VIGO Caspian frameless sliding shower door. Turning Stone's Crescent Hotel (Verona, NY) received a custom matte brushed gold Caspian; Point Place Casino (Bridgeport, NY) received a custom matte black Caspian with a 3-inch bottom door guide. Why specify the same door for two different casinos?
Because consistency is an asset in hospitality construction. When one owner (the Oneida Indian Nation), one architect (Gensler), and one general contractor (Hayner Hoyt) are delivering multiple properties, a single proven door platform means one set of installation details, one spare-parts inventory, and one predictable result — while finish does the work of giving each property its own identity. The VIGO Caspian was the platform; matte gold and matte black were the two stories.
