Tucked in the Pines: VIGO Sliding Doors at Point Place Casino Hotel
When the Oneida Indian Nation's Point Place Casino added a brand-new, lodge-inspired hotel in late 2025, the guest bathrooms got glass that works the way a compact, hard-working hotel bath should: VIGO frameless sliding shower doors โ no swing radius, no wasted inches, nothing but clear glass between the tile and the room.

Point Place Casino, Bridgeport, NY โ "tucked in the pines," 20 minutes from Syracuse, and now home to a 99-room lodge-inspired hotel.
At a glance
VIGO supplied frameless sliding shower doors for Point Place Casino Hotel, the new lodge-inspired hotel at the Oneida Indian Nation's Point Place Casino in Bridgeport, New York โ a 99-room property that opened in November 2025 as the centerpiece of a more than $50 million expansion.
The Property
A casino in the pines grows a hotel
Point Place Casino sits just off Oneida Lake in Bridgeport, New York โ "tucked in the pines," as the property likes to say โ about 20 minutes from Syracuse Hancock International Airport. It opened in March 2018 as a smoke-free, 65,000-square-foot gaming facility from the Oneida Indian Nation, the operator behind Turning Stone Resort Casino, and it has been running around the clock ever since: roughly 900 slots, 26 table games, a TS Sports sportsbook, and a dining lineup that runs from The Burgers of Madison County to the Fireside Lounge and its 360-degree wood-burning fireplace.
In 2024 the Nation announced the largest investment in the property's history โ a more than $50 million expansion โ and in November 2025 the doors opened on its centerpiece: Point Place Casino Hotel, a multi-story, lodge-inspired hotel with 99 rooms, from Kings and Oversized Kings to Double Queens. The brand voice around it is pure Upstate comfort โ "Hibernate in style," "sleep like a log," "nature outside, premium thread count inside" โ and the rooms deliver it with navy linen-textured walls, leather headboards and forest-floor patterned carpet.
A brand-new hotel means brand-new bathrooms, specified once and built 99 times. For the shower glass, that spec came from VIGO.

Lodge-modern: a King room at Point Place Casino Hotel โ navy linen walls, leather headboard, and the pines out the window.
The Doors
Why the glass slides
In a hotel bathroom, every inch is spoken for. A swinging door has to reserve its whole arc โ floor space that a compact lodge bath simply does not have to give. A frameless sliding door solves the geometry: two panels of tempered glass ride a top rail, one glides behind the other, and the shower opens fully without claiming a single inch of the room. That is why sliding doors are the default glass of well-planned hotel baths โ and why they went into all of Point Place Casino Hotel's showers.
VIGO's frameless sliding family is built for exactly this duty. The flagship Elan pairs thick clear tempered glass with a rigid top bar and adjustable installation widths โ forgiving of the small framing variances that come with building dozens of identical bathrooms โ while Luca and Cass Elan vary the hardware language, Ryland sharpens the price, and Elan VMotion adds a soft-closing glide. Four finishes โ matte black, matte brushed gold, stainless steel and chrome โ let the same door family match any room palette.

The sliding formula: two panels, one top rail, zero swing radius โ VIGO's Luca frameless sliding door in chrome.
The Spec Case
One door family, ninety-nine bathrooms
Specifying a hotel is a different sport from picking a door for one bathroom. The glass has to arrive on schedule, install predictably across room types, shrug off years of daily guest use, and look like part of one designed family from the standard King to the Oversized King. Sourcing every door from a single line does all of that at once โ one hardware language, one finish story, one set of replacement parts.
It also keeps the look honest to the brand. Point Place sells the "great indoors": warm wood, stone, big windows on the pines. Frameless glass is the quietest possible partner for that palette โ it adds no metal frame to argue with the room, keeps the shower bright, and wipes clean with a squeegee pass. The guest never thinks about the door at all. Which, in a hotel bathroom, is precisely the point.
- Zero swing clearance โ the bypass door gives nothing back to the room
- Clear tempered glass keeps compact baths feeling open
- Adjustable installation widths absorb framing variance across 99 rooms
- Four finishes to match any room palette

Steal the spec for your own bathroom
The logic that outfitted 99 lodge bathrooms works just as well in one: if your bathroom is tight on clearance, a frameless sliding door buys the space back and keeps the glass out of the way. Start with the flagship Elan, or let the VMotion close the door for you.
